Giving Info/Gathering Info

While finishing up the last stages of Broken Faith, I've been planning some events (which I will be posting later in the month) to celebrate, and came to a hiccup.  To solve my little problem, I'm asking you guys for help.  It's really only a small hiccup but I want opinions. 
So here it is:
If given the chance to win a Kindle Fire or Nook, which would you prefer? 
Leave me a comment to let me know your preference, your friend preference, and any news you might have heard while doing some research.  It would greatly be appreciated.

  1. Kindle. Most stuff seems to be published to that format first, then (maybe) to nook.

  2. I would have to say kindle as well. I use the apps on my iPad and I find the kindle easier to use. I don't like that you have to keep a credit card on file to download books that you've already purchased to the Nook.
